Glisng is the capital of Covtle and the capital of the Wiþi empire. Founded in approximately 300 by the Glisng people, after the arrival of the Followers of Baðatrepava in 450, it began to grow and is now the largest city on Tiðloten, with a population of 1.312.944 people.

Glisng is considered to be a centre of knowledge, political power, and the Wiþi economy. Latordo ad Glisng (English: the University of Glisng), founded in 501, is the oldest currently surviving Tower of Knowledge and the most prestigious higher education institute in Covtle. Lapazadapalavi, the bicameral parliament of the Wiþi Empire, meets in Lolovgri ad telinjatþod (English: the Emerald Palace) in the centre of the city. Teheþod ad lagan ad telizeþod (English: the Ruby street shops) is the longest shopping district in the world. Glisng is also the centre of the Adcovtle railway network, and Latoron ad Glisng is estimated to be the busiest railway station in the world.
