Moñodo Adavia

Moñodo Adavia (14 glimeri 1997 - ) is a multidisciplinary artist from Mangátle. She is primarily known for her commissioned work on illusory expanding murals for the city of Mangátle, including Luzeþ ad Quərfi and Lavaðon baðratle ve Mangátle, that depict the city's history. She also completed a mural for Þiðaris depicting boat tours throughout the city's history. She is also a prolific playwright, especially of histories. Her best known play is Lahetlume gabri laflacretem, a fictionalised historical play about the lives of the Aploca family after the Great fire of Mangátle, which started in their bakery.

Illusory expanding murals

Moñodo is widely considered to be one of the best illusory expanding muralists in Covtle. She was a major contributor to 2000 Years of Knowledge mural in Glisng celebrating the 2000th anniversary of the opening of the first Tower of Knowledge in Lajavlugli. This brought her to the attention of the city government of Mangátle, who hired her in 2039 to complete her own illusory expanding mural for the city. She created Luzeþ ad Quərfi to critical acclaim. She had completed two more large murals for Mangátle, and one for Þiðaris, plus a small mural for Mangátle.

Playwrighting

Moñodo is a prolific playwright, and has created far more plays than murals. Most of her plays are somewhat fictionalised histories, especially of Mangátle and Covtle, with a tenancy to focus on the lives of ordinary people rather than the political elites. Her best known play is Lahetlume gabri laflacretem, a fictionalised historical play about the lives of the Aploca family after the Great fire of Mangátle, which started in their bakery.

Personal life

Moñodo Adavia married Þila Adavia in 2025. They sometimes have caused controversy, especially in Þiðaris, because of their openness about their sexual life. They are both involved in lesbian advocacy and transfemme advocacy (Þila is openly transfeminine.) They have no children.
