The first tram in Mangátle was installed in 1991, and the network has expanded rapidly since then. The current system has 7 tram lines, covering almost all of the city. The fleet of trams in Mangátle is varied and has expanded since the first tram in 1991. All of the trams in Mangátle are gemstone powered, and have been so since the first line in 1991.
