The Wiþi calendar is a calendar adopted by the Wiþi Empire in 1955. It is a revision of the Taþano calendar, which had been put in place by King Taþano, which is itself a revision of the Oneaþ calendar, put in place by Queen Oneaþ. Unlike the previous calendars, it was devised by a committee known as Lañome ad lini, rather than by a single individual. However, unlike many changes made by Lañome ad lini, it was fairly cautious and didn't change the existing calendar significantly.
Calendar
There are six days of the week, named orbda, solda, elvleda, cleda, atada, and lograda. The months of the year are each 24 days long, and start counting at 0, rather than 1, except for the last month, which is five days long. The months are atawiþi, losi, afangi, atasoli, vlori, baðatrepavi, soli, pavi, þali, seci, beni, marli, glimeri, gerongoni, pecatri, and gemuglu. An extra day is added to gemuglu every five years.
Adoption
The Wiþi calendar has been adopted by not only the Wiþi Empire, but also by all other countries on Tiðloten except Fole Enkan and Šalva, which use the Enkan calendar, and the Ancient land, whose calendar system is highly complex. The adoption dates are listed below:
| Country | Year |
|---|---|
| Wiþi Empire | 1955 |
| zhi Nakiwá | 1977 |
| Wàmèrà | 1980 |
| Dyalno Confederation, Zaltekhem | 2008 |
| Lagon | 2012 |
| Halku | 2014 |
| Senhyamdil | 2017 |
| Quərfi | 2018 |
Work week
Most people work during all of the days except for lograda, although some higher earners also get elvleda off.
